Within the next week you will be receiving a letter from Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina notifying you of your new Medicare supplement rate beginning June 1.
WHY?
Your rate adjustment is based on overall group claims activity, your current age bracket, and inflation.
CHANGES ALLOWED
During the month of May, BCBSNC allows their members to change from their current supplement to another BCBSNC supplement of their choice without underwriting (answering health questions). BCBSNC does not hold any health issues against you and will allow you to move to a plan with more or less coverage during this time.
