If you have a Medicare Supplement plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield, you probably have received a letter notifying you of your new Medicare Supplement rates beginning June 1, 2019.
What to look for in this letter
- Your rate adjustment is the yearly change due to inflation and overall claims activity within your group or age bracket.
- You may experience higher rate changes when you move to another age bracket.
- If you are interested in switching to a different Blue Cross plan, you must make that change during the month of May for a June 1st start date.
- Remember that we also represent multiple carriers and can help you switch to a new plan if you decide to leave Blue Cross Blue Shield.
